September 6 at the Chapel

Feast of the Nativity of the Virgin

On Sunday, Sept. 6, the Chapel of Our Lady of Carla opened its doors for the traditional pilgrimage to mark the feast of the Nativity of the Virgin.
prayerful and festive Mass was presided over by our Bishop, Bishop Alain Planet who concelebrated the celebration with Father Bernard DUMEC, and Father Michael and Theophanes Canons of the Abbey.
A large audience gathered and participated in the celebration by joining the usual hymns and songs with Carla Mary, accompanied by Madame Arnaud synthesizer.
After an aperitif served by the association in the fold, convivial moment where participants have the pleasure to meet friends, it was also an opportunity to dialogue with the Father Bishop, our pastor or canons.
Then participants were heading to the plaza to the picnic and divide in groups around tables set early by the volunteers of the association (We were over 140 guests). This year the menu, our chef had prepared a couscous.

Association Friends of Our Lady of Carla, thank all participants and all people of goodwill who have ensured the success of the day, including many volunteers, men and women who were willing to lend a hand to store all material on the porch, not to mention the Common Lagrasse which al'amabilité each pilgrimage we climb tables and chairs needed.
