Sunday, April 11, 2010, the port of Argelès has been the scene of an agricultural exhibition. The agricultural fair in question proposed to the visitors of the exhibitions of animals with horses, cows, goats, roosters, sheep and rabbits, but also the exposure of farm products. Besides the
traditional cheeses and sausages, visitors could enjoy the fruit of the craftsmanship of a woman with nimble fingers capable of building the most humble and most beautiful variety of wicker baskets.
Beyond these exhibitions, there was entertainment including demonstrations of sheep dogs and games for the least attractive.
One of these games has whetted my curiosity somewhat, it was the visitors player to assess the weight of a bird. A fee, anyone could join in the game and the best player in the crowd, the player who gave the estimate closer to reality won a net garni.
Finally, the agricultural fair has offered a friendly scarecrow contest with all sorts of creations of the most original to the most traditional.
