Pain In Right Side Of Head Feels Like A Bruise

Digressions SPRING 2008

Between the months of May and late July 2008 I worked on other mixes between the trio of Ronnie Lynn Patterson (with Stephen and Louis Moutin Kerecky) and recording / mixing two disks oboist Jean Luc Fillon (On the Reed Again and Oborigins).
I will focus first on the project of my friend William Humery alias "New King of Klezmer Clarinet," disc of the same name with an excellent cover and particularly well at the photo. Even if you do not like the clarinet, I recommend you go take a look as the guy is cocky!
Flanked by his three henchmen, Denis Cuniot (excellent pianist well known to us) and brothers Giffard (on trombone and tuba Benoit, Alexandre at tapan), I have installed in the great room and has been forced Sequenza quickly After the user trials, to isolate the tapan (instrument Percussion particularly vicious in its peaceful air has quickly overtake the entire range of sound) in a cab. It allowed me to record the piano with more acoustic surroundings. I recorded the clarinet with two microphones Schoeps Tube (221 F) in omni. I will return to the microphones that are exceptional and I am more and more as they crush the builders of modern references (though excellent). The problem is related to their fragility, but I ended up sending them to Peter Drefahl in Germany for reviewing and producing new supplies to replace the old ones. These microphones resume service and therefore show much References pretentious.
Guillaume played with exceptional virtuosity, I must say it is better to have the breath when we baptize his drive way .... I mixed the disc without particular problems and is released by Buda led by Gilles Fruchaux I salute in passing.
Would you ever imagine that one day I work for the star academy? Rest assured, this is not so simple. My friend Ilan Abou bassist (met with William Balde) with Thierry Faure co arranger of big band to accompany selected by Mercury Mosiman Quentin asked me to remix the entire disc. To scheduling reasons we were unable to record and mix together. So I reopened the case and I enjoyed this work both for the quality of the orchestra for the trust.
I mixed just before the disc Daniel Humair "Baby Bonus Boom 'I mentioned earlier. I attacked first in the most delicate piece (lots of "repisses" infernal) to find the color. After a day's work I came to a satisfactory result. Mathieu Donarier wanted to resume refining some scales, I warned that we could not go further. After completing his proposals the letter we found that it was no use, mixing with its previous shortcomings walking much better. Once the problems are settled on this piece, the rest of the disc was easier to mix (playing weaker players, arrangements more transparent and easier to read). Congratulations to Christopher Monniot on his brilliant idea of mounting. We had trouble with a solo guitar piece in a generally satisfactory but ... he had to try something. We took another solo piece (same beat but different composition) and have inserted (the quintet entire course). Frankly I did not that it would work. I spent two hours editing to keep the fluidity and refine the nuances ..... and it worked.
The day I received the disc (Bee Jazz), I rushed to listen and see if this arrangement was still working after three months (of course he had not mutated, but the passage of time sometimes reveals cruel truths). Incredibly, it worked so well that I wondered if I listened to the good bit!
blow a bit, I'll be back soon to talk about "Makan" disc Kamilya Jubran
